The Directorate is responsible for establishing and maintaining  linkage with national, regional, and international bodies in the field of regulating radiation and nuclear uses. It carries out internal as well as external activities aiming at facilitating the outreach of the rest of directorates.

The International Cooperation Directorate (ICD) serves as the Commission’s liaison with its national, regional, and international partners. It is responsible for planning, managing, and organizing activities in addition to handling the Commission’s international correspondence, projects, agreements and MoUs in collaboration with concerned directorates. ICD also coordinates the participation of the JNRC staff members in important conferences, symposia, and training courses. Furthermore, the Directorate is in charge of preparing and finalizing publications that introduce the Commission to the public as well as other institutions and organization. ICD  is also responsible for the JNRC website.
